Rider Profile

Jason Bailey

The CarTen is an annual family trip down to Tenby  now having done the ride numerous times. Love the physical challenge and the team spirit is fantastic.  Not much beats the feeling of riding into Tenby with the crowds cheering after 100 miles….other than a dip in Tenby Harbour and maybe a nice cold beer on arrival!

If you can’t surf it, then cycle it!

Rider Fact File

Job Title: Physio, Dad’s taxi

What is your favourite training route? I take the “scenic” route home from work. Up and down Leckwith Hill as few times seems to have prepared me well in the past . A quick ride out to the Vale via Vale Mile Lane and Peterston Super Ely to join the family at the beach works well too.

What is your favourite music to listen to whilst riding? No music. Need to hear the traffic!

What is your favourite pre-ride snack!? Boiled egg .  Granola bars. Strong sweet milky coffee ( skimmed milk)  with a sprinkling of salt….secret recipe till now.
